Vocalscape Signs Licensing Agreement With Digium, Inc.
KATONAH, N.Y., Sep 23, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Vocalscape, Inc.(TM) (Pink Sheets: VCSC.PK), announces the company has entered into a licensing agreement with Digium, Inc. to commercially license Asterisk(TM), an award winning PBX product.
The terms of the agreement includes Vocalscape's right to modify, create derivative works and combine Asterisk in whole or in part with other products to create Vocalscape branded products.
Digium(TM) is the creator and primary developer of Asterisk(TM), the industry's first Open Source PBX. Used in combination with Digium's PCI telephony interface cards, Asterisk offers a strategic, highly cost-effective approach to voice and data transport over TDM, switched, and Ethernet architectures.
