Vocalscape and TelaZoom Join Forces to Supple VoIP Service to Residential and Small Business Customers

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Mar 6/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Vocalscape Networks, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: VOSC - News) and TelaZoom Communications today announced they will join forces to offer Voice over IP (VoIP) service. The companies have signed a Letter of Intent and will form a separate Limited Liability Company (LLC).

The new company will offer service in Canada and the USA with plans tailored to the residential and small business markets. Initial marketing efforts will leverage TelaZoom’s strategic position within the security/alarm industry by engaging a network of over 1,500 independent alarm dealers to sell VoIP to their established client base of nearly 200,000 customers in Canada and approximately 150,000 in the USA.

The US market for VoIP advanced dramatically in 2006, adding 3.8 million VoIP households in 2006, reports In-Stat. Consumer VoIP adoption will drive wholesale VoIP revenues to $3.8 billion by 2010 from $1.1 billion in 2006.
